Anna moves to Calura, an imaginary town in Aspromonte as well as her hometown, where her childhood friend Emilia takes the place of mayor. The latter chooses Anna herself for the post of deputy mayor. Emilia, however, has a tumor and is forced to resign shortly after: in these situations it is the deputy mayor who takes the post of mayor. Anna will revolutionize Calura's way of doing things, amidst various problems (both private and common) and misunderstandings. However, Anna will be able to change the situation in the city, in her country and, once again, after a year she is elected mayor despite the repeated threats received by the boss Cafuero.
