Overview
The true story of the first Czech female writer in four television films. Seventeen-year-old Bára is a rebellious, eager and free-spirited girl. She prefers reading to baking. In addition, it attracts the interest of men. Her parents can no longer handle her, so they are looking for a groom who would marry her even without a dowry. The best part is Josef Němec, a pensioner fifteen years older. A young unbridled girl bewitched him. Josef does not even listen to his friend's warning. Bára opposes the marriage, but against her parents' wishes, she has no chance. Two opposing natures step into a life together.
