Blochin – Die Lebenden und die Toten
Overview
Blochin was shot at the age of 14 and woke up in the morgue. Years later, he has since switched sides and is working for the homicide squad and sets off on a journey into his past. Together with his partner and brother-in-law Dominik, he is tasked with solving the death of a drug dealer. A difficult undertaking, not least because the investigation is torpedoed by the BKA - on the orders of the Interior Senator, with whose State Secretary Dominik is having an affair. "Creator" Matthias Glasner tells a kind of (crime) symphony of the big city of Berlin. A furiously staged and photographed series, sex, love, violence and intrigue, changing characters, a flowing camera and a sweat-inducing jazz score included. The boundaries between good and evil are blurred in this gripping crime-and-punishment drama that remains rooted in reality and is tailored to the brilliantly acting Jürgen Vogel.
